Silent Auction Tables for Teams

We will be implementing a number of changes to the team mandatory Silent Auction Donation. The two primary changes are:

The Silent Auction will be held at our Casino Night on Friday, February 3, 2012 instead of at our End of Season Banquet where it will benefit from a broader audience.
The Silent Auction will no longer be required for each team to submit an item. Instead, all teams have the option to host a silent auction table at our upcoming Casino Night with increased incentives for participation.

The reason is to focus the End of Season Banquet as a celebratory evening for all players and in particular for this year’s 25th Anniversary. In addition, we wanted to increase the incentive for teams to participate in the Silent Auction as well as be motivated to secure quality items that will gain higher bid amounts. PARTICIPATING TEAM QUICK FACTS

Rewards
- Each participating team will receive 50% of total sales from their table to be divided equally among its players as a credit to their player account
- Highest selling team table receives FREE summer camp with Coach Aaron, Coach Morgan, and Coach Luke
Participation Requirements
- Sell a minimum of 10 tickets to the Casino Night
- Assign a Team Representative to oversee all duties associated with having a Silent Auction Table
- Have at least 2 parents to serve as Casino Volunteers
Table Requirements
- Secure donations for team table
- Organize into 6-10 items only o Create Bid Sheets for each item
- Set up table on afternoon of Casino

While this is our first foray into team incentives to participate in an event like this, our goal is to have a successful first outing this February and then plan for an annual Casino & Silent Auction in early fall so teams can have the benefit of these fundraising efforts earlier in the season.
